What is the Hour of Code?

The Hour of Code is a one-hour coding challenge to give students a fun first introduction to computer science. There are hundreds of one-hour activities in over 48 languages (including Vietnamese) for primary school and up. The activities require no experience.

Computer science is foundational

President Obama wrote his first line of code in 2014! Over 100 million students have tried the Hour of Code! Fifty percent are female students!
