Update, 7/30/15: Tripzaar isn’t around anymore. Check out Triip instead.
I really enjoy living in Boston. I get to meet interesting and fun people who are doing very cool things. I find hidden gem restaurants and fun things to do. I’ve lived here for 6 years. I’ve learned what’s popular and what to avoid. I love to share my local knowledge with visitors from all over the world.
When I travel to a new city I’d like to meet someone like myself. Someone who has local knowledge that’s friendly and willing share. They know the tourist traps to avoid, how to get from A to B and where the best food is. Wouldn’t it be great if there was a website where I could just pick a new city and go?
Now there’s Tripzaar!
“On the east coast of the United States there lives a city by the sea. The people there are friendly, hardy and full of energy. It’s a place where you can find great food, great views and great culture. Welcome to Boston!
Boston is home to over 60 colleges and universities and the oldest baseball stadium in the country. In this trip you will see the city from up high and down low. You’ll eat in restaurants chosen by a local (and highly rated on Yelp) and get to experience the culture of the city.
Pack your walking shoes, your camera and bring an appetite for Boston!”
