A Visit to the New Fresh Tilled Soil Office

Note: I made this 24 second video with Directr. Their app is free, easy to use and the videos come out looking great.

I stopped by the new Fresh Tilled Soil office today. It’s an absolutely beautiful space in the recently remodeled Riverworks building. See below for my 24 second video. If you haven’t heard about Fresh Tilled Soil they are a UI design firm for web and mobile applications. Their CEO, Richard Banfield, spends some of his time giving back to the Boston startup community by mentoring and speaking at events. Their new space is a hub for everything Richard and his team are doing:

Tomorrow night they’ll have their first event: a Q&A with the Winklevoss Twins. Grab your ticket now. As of the time of this posting there are 6 tickets left.

Real-world courses on topics like Responsive Web design and HTML/CSS. On February 12th they’ll have an open house where you can learn more.

“The Fresh Tilled Soil Apprenticeship in UX turns promising designers and developers into all-round web and mobile product experts through intense, structured learning, individual mentorship and real-world experience.” Learn more here.

The events, labs and apprenticeships are just part of what make up the Fresh Tilled Soil Habitat. Head on over there for resources and podcasts too.
